“What can I do for you, Master?” Genie asked.
“Make me another Genie,” Aladdin said, “for my wife.”
Genie shut his eyes tight in concentration.
“Ah, I see it. Cloning. But it’s an art of the future. I have failed you, Master. I must die.”
Smoke filled the room.
This made me smile. I like your twist on the wish-for-more-wishes angle.
Thanks Margaret.Struck me last minute.
That’s a nice twist.
Thanks, glad it came to me.
I can’t believe nobody thought of that before. 🙂 I like the way this is past and future all in one.
Thank you Christine!
This is great! Great concept, succinctly and clearly told, and a nice little commentary on society as a bonus. Very nice!
So glad you liked it.
Poor Aladdin! Left bereft. Like the others, I really liked the twist on the wish for more wishes. And making future technology beyond the genie’s reach was a clever way to deal with the conflict.
I was struggling for the end and got it right before the deadline:)
